Let the Adventure begin...

Tia believes in writing down your dreams and goals and letting life take shape. On January 14th, she wrote out her ideal soul mate, which led to her meeting him six months later in the heart of Downtown Woodstock, Georgia! As anyone knows, there are always three sides to a story, so the two that will be shared below is beautiful one filled with surprises: Tia's Story: On June 14th was a special day; it was the day my lovely neighbors threw me a birthday party at the pool. My mother was my plus one and celebrated the many moments with laughter, delicious spread, and cocktails...The moment Lyle walked through the gates with another neighbor, and he looked me in the eye, I knew he was special but unavailable. I told my mother we needed to leave now because the woman he was with was another sweet soul, and I didn't want to start anything. We left........ Hours later, I continued my celebration at a rooftop bar in town, and after a few cocktails and salsa moments, my dear friend told me it was time for me to turn in for the night. He offered to walk me home, and during that mini walk, I noticed Lyle again sitting in an Adirondack chair just talking away with my neighbor! At that moment, I decided to tell them I was very happy for her, and she was a lucky woman... One day I would love to have a man look at me that way! Let's just say she made it clear that Lyle was not her boyfriend but her baby brother :) At that moment, I had goosebumps and said goodbye to my friend and decided to stay awhile and talk to him for hours on end.. which led to a 10-hour conversation on his sister's couch. Since this date, I've been on an amazing journey called a couples life; we've been through several storms together and witnessed plenty of beautiful rainbows at the end of the storm....let's just say I'm so blessed to have this man in my life! Love celebrating the many moments we have daily.

June 14th was the last day I planned to visit my sister and prepare to head back to South Carolina. It was such a beautiful day; my sister said we should go to the pool and chill out, so when we walked through the gates, I noticed Tia, and at that moment, I knew she was the one. My sister shared that Tia is way out of my league and wouldn't give me a chance. After dinner with her friends, I fell asleep on the Adirondack chair right outside the restaurant a few hours later. When I opened my eyes, I noticed Tia walking down the sidewalk with a handsome man, thinking my sister was right. When she stopped and shared how happy she was for my sister, we shared with her we were siblings... I knew I was going to spend my life with her, so the journey began...
