We’re Getting Married!

Love at first volunteer opportunity -- or at least that's how this story goes. Back before both were about to enter the 10th grade, Tia and Julien met at a little reading and math camp at New Piney Grove (Decatur, Ga). Tia, volunteering with her good friend at the time, Christina, and Julien volunteering at his church, became "best" friends (as did all the volunteers). People began to notice chemistry but they both were enjoying the ride -- from late night phone calls in the summer to early morning riddle-ing during volunteer camp. The two became inseperable.

Just when you think a house warming party couldn't become more eventful, someone pulls out a deck of charades! If you know us, you know we love party games! Everybody is taking turns, silently acting out their card while everyone else shouts the answer. Julien's turn comes around. He looks at his card, holds up the number 4 and he silently puts on an Oscar Award Winning Performance! Everybody was shouting the wrong answers until he faced Tia and got on one knee.
