Is there a dress code?

The dress code is formal / black-tie optional. We suggest guests wear cocktail dresses or gowns and suits. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors so please plan accordingly - we highly suggest wraps, shawl or jackets in case of cooler temperatures.

While we love your little ones, please note that we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding celebrations. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can enjoy a night out with us!

Due to capacity limitations, we can only accommodate the names of the people listed on the invitations. We appreciate your understanding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the venue available for hotel guests. If you are not staying at the hotel, please contact The Colony Hotel for parking details.

Where should I stay?

Answer

All wedding day events take place at the Colony Hotel, so this is definitely the easiest and most convenient option for lodging! There are a few other hotels within walking distance of the Colony Hotel listed on the Travel page. Additionally, downtown Kennebunkport is a 5 minute drive away and has many lodging options, and Air BNB and VRBO rentals are also available.
