His Version... Gold! My brother. Thank you! A simple conversation with one of my close friends changed my life. I was relaxing enjoying my beer when Gold texted me and said “I got somebody for you”. He then sent a picture of Tia and I said “that’s my speed”. Tia and I got each other’s instagram and proceeded to talk. I reached out to her and said “Let’s talk now Big Tia, what’s your number? Can I get to know you personally now?” And she said “what up mane” and gave me her number. After texting “Big Tia”, I knew I had to put in work because she was selective on when she texted back 😂. I was on the road with my close friend Arias, who couldn’t drive for nothing, and we ended up in ATL. I knew we were headed there so I reached out to let Tia know I’d be in town. Upon arrival, Gold said he was having a pre-game and he was inviting Tia and Bianca. When they arrived, I seen Tia and at that moment I knew I had to take her serious. Our friends left and we watched a movie and talked about life. We had a conversation about what we wanted in life and I think that’s what attracted her to me. After that day we never stopped talking. Her Version... Over the summer, Jeremy's friend Gold told me, "I got somebody for you, but he a loose cannon". I declined because I didn't want a "loose cannon" lol and I wasn't interested in dating anyone at the time. We connected on Instagram and texted back and forth for a few months, but our conversations were surface level. In November, he suggested we have dinner when he visited Atlanta. I agreed, but for some reason, we didn’t end up meeting that week. The following Friday, was my mom’s birthday and I was supposed to be out of town, but I decided to stay one more day before traveling. Me and Bianca was out and about and decided to go to Gold's house to pre-game. Jeremy was there. When he first saw me, he said "my woman is here!" and kissed my hand. LOL! We talked for hours and watched Boyz in the Hood. We didn’t even go out with our friends. During our conversation, he asked about my future goals and expressed that he wanted to pursue a serious relationship with me. I laughed at the idea, but I sensed he was sincere and appreciated his intentionality. We've talked every day since then. In December, he came back to Atlanta to visit, and I made us matching sweaters to wear to a Christmas party. On New Year’s Day, he asked me to be his woman (again), but this time, I said yes. And now, here we are! ❤️
