The Bride's Story - During pre-Covid she took a jab at dating and set a quest on OkCupid. A family member had great success finding their love to be, so she figured ,"Hey why not me?" It was tough. Tia looked high, low, in between, but her week of searching was put to an end. Tia asked herself, "what's this?? I matched with Alvaro Noriega!!! He's cute, cooks, has doggies, loves Jesus, and ...*inserts typical vacation pic* he's adventurous too!! They began to chat with some silly banter over who would lose at Super Smash Bros and hobbies. Things took off quickly as the two had their first date at City Tacos and Coin Op to show their competitive side. Alvaro didn't hold back; he was deemed victorious at every game except for one. He was very proud!! But Tia was not giving up that easily!! She challenged Alvaro to karaoke??!!. The lady had no idea what she was getting herself into, but she was hopeful. Alvaro single-handedly obliterated her. He won two things that night: his pride and her heart.

Alvaro could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Once their joined laughter started, it never seemed to stop. Alvaro soon learned he could be his most honest self around Tia and she could do the same. Between honest, deep conversation and fits of laughter, it only took him three months to work up the courage to say I love you. To his delight, Tia felt the same way, although it took him almost two more years to propose. He knew long before that Tia was one he would do anything for, the one with whom he could imagine having children. And the one he would happily spend the rest of his life with.
