The short story: we met in nursing school. In our very last class, Alex and Tia were assigned at random to teach a sixth-grade sex-ed class together. What an experience! Soon after, we went skiing together at Copper Mountain where Alex rescued Tia on Resolution Bowl. Our first date was at Four Noses Brewery, on Friday the 13th. In keeping with the tradition, we chose June 13th for our wedding date.
