It’s a love story, baby just say yes!

Our story is that of one that isn’t the typical love story. Our story starts at Hollister in the mall when I applied for a position as an associate. When I went in for my interview there stood the most handsome boy I’d ever seen standing at the counter, but being the closed off person I was I didn’t say a peep. When I took the job and started working more and more I would secretly hope that I would be working with him. After a few months of him trying to get my attention with little to no luck he was having a conversation while working with one of the managers who he was close with he said “you know who I think is really cute?” and Sabrina responded with “Tia” from then on Sabrina made it her mission to get me to open up. Coming up to me saying things like “sooo tell me about the boys in your life.” Slowly but surely I began to open up to Cole. By November we were on our first date! The date in which I talked Cole’s ear off in fear of awkward silence. We ended up at Olive Garden till they closed and I left with a beaming smile on my face. That’s when I knew this was more than just some guy. Date after date with both enjoyed getting to know each other better. We spent New Year’s Eve 2018 getting dinner after work and then having a blizzard change our plans for the evening so we watched the NYC ball drop on Cole’s phone and shared our first kiss in his car in the mall parking lot. It wasn’t what we planned but it was so special. Sometime in February after many more dates we were walking out of work and Cole said “I have a question for you? Are we dating?” Me being caught off guard I replied with “I think so” after that time seemed to fly by. 6 months, then a year, not long after our one year anniversary we signed the lease on our first apartment. After having been there a few months we got our first pup Dexter and he made sure to keep us busy and then got our second pup Milo in March. Also in March our relationship got put to the test by us being home together almost all the time in our 700 sqft apartment when the 2020 shutdowns happened. Time and time again when we were facing hardships we always came back to one another. We’ve been through job changes, shifts in friendships, vacations, plenty of highs, a few lows, and many moves (3 rentals different rentals in 12 months.) December 2022 we finally got a home to call our own! 2023 was full of adventure and after facing all we have faced together we knew we could do this life together forever! ❤️
