This is the couple’s favorite museum, and one of the most beautiful places out there. Check out the iconic shuttlecock sculptures on the front lawn!
This is another one of the couple’s favorite spots, which is dedicated to modern art. One of KC’s art staples.
A delicious LGBTQ and Latino-owned coffee shop in Greg and Megan’s neighborhood. Try Megan’s favorite, the strawberry matcha latte ☕️
Greg and Megan love watching movies, and Kansas City’s movie house is the place to do it! Be sure to head to the back of the building to Rewind Video, a 90’s themed video game bar that’s in the basement of the theatre!
Megan and Greg love to come to the City Market on weekend for some breakfast and to shop for some delicious produce and locally made goods. Grab a bouquet of Dutch Flowers and some tasty prosciutto from the Italian grocery!
It’s Free to Ride! Running from the River Market on the north end to Union Station and Crown Center on the south, KC Streetcar connects all the downtown neighborhoods with 16 platform stops and 2 miles of track. Shop local produce, couture, antiques and KC memorabilia; drop the commute between work and home; enjoy the culture of art galleries, events, concerts and plays; satisfy your hunger/thirst/cravings with a variety of culinary offerings … it’s all part of a normal day in downtown Kansas City!
Antique furniture, vintage clothes, locally made goods, and funky specialities abound in the West Bottoms neighborhood of KC. After shopping, be sure to stop by one of the couple’s favorite bars, The Ship, for a scrumptious snack and unique cocktail!
Be sure to take a stroll (and window shop, of course) through this beautiful outdoor shopping center, speckled with unique Spanish style architecture. Megan’s old apartment on Broadway Street was where the couple spent the majority of the first COVID-19 lockdown, finishing their last year of college on their computers, and filling each others’ coffee cups.
Hands down, the best Chinese food in KC. Greg and Megan like to treat themselves at the end of a long week with some takeout and Criminal Minds. Try Greg’s favorite, General Tso’s chicken with lo mein on the side!
