When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than 01.12.2026 on our wedding website in the ‘RSVP’ tab. Kindly note that due to venue and catering requirements, only guests who RSVP by the specified date can be accommodated. Unfortunately we will be unable to accept late responses.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless personally informed, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited, due to space. Thank you for understanding.

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is for >14 year olds.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are so grateful for all our friends and family who will travel to share in our special day. For those who will be staying for the weekend, we have arranged discounted hotel rates at Voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley. The link can be found in the ‘Accomodation’ tab. Alternatively, there are many other hotels and Airbnb’s in the region. For your convenience, we have arranged shuttle buses to depart Voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley at 2:00pm to take guests to our venue. Shuttle buses will also be available at the end of the night taking guests back to Voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley.

What time should I arrive at the venue for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 3:00pm. We ask that guests please arrive at the venue from 2:00pm and before 2:30pm so that everyone can be seated on time. Please enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival. Guest arrival after the start time will not be permitted entry and will unfortunately miss the ceremony.

Is there parking at the venue for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There is on-site parking available, however it can fill up quickly, so please plan ahead. Alternatively, shuttle buses will be transporting guests at 2:00pm from Voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley.

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting), and our reception will be under cover.

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony (no phones or cameras). We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share photos as we receive them. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! Our dress code is 'Garden Party Formal'. Please see ‘Dress Code’ tab on our website for more information.

What colour are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

My beautiful bridesmaids will be wearing chocolate brown. Please kindly avoid wearing this colour.

Can you cater to dietary requirements?

Answer

Yes absolutely - please include details of allergies and dietary requirements when you RSVP, alternatively you can contact Caitlin or Joshua.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes - drinks are on us! Please enjoy the open bar throughout the afternoon and evening!

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Many of you will travel to share our wedding day with us, and so your presence at our wedding is more important to us than a gift. However, if you would like to gift some money towards our honeymoon there will be a wishing well at our reception, and all contributions are greatly appreciated.
