When will the bride and groom arrive in Punta Cana?

Answer

We will be arriving in Punta Cana on Wednesday June 29 and will be returning to Seattle WA on Monday July 4

Do I have to go to Punta Cana the same time as the bride and groom?

Answer

No. It is your vacation so plan it at your convenience but remember that everyone must arrive in Punta Cana by July 1st.

How can I contact the bride and groom when I arrive?

Answer

I recommend logging into wifi and contacting the bride or groom through FaceTime, WhatsApp, IG or Messenger call. I believe that there is wifi access at the airport and definitely at the resort

What do I need to bring to Punta Cana?

Answer

Mosquitos spray, sunglasses, sunblock, beach wear

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Dress for a beach wedding! For women: beach dress, dress sandals or heels, ect.. For men: beach shirt, dress pants or shorts, shoes or dress sandals ect..

Do I need a passport to travel to Punta Cana from the United States?

Answer

Yes. Please check the expiration on your passport and have your passport ready to travel. If you do not have a passport, keep in mind that it can take 2-3 months to get your passport in the mail once you drop it off at the post office. Visit travel.state.gov for passport forms

Do I need a vaccine card to travel?

Answer

No as of now but the rules can change at anytime. Visit wwwnc.cdc.gov for the latest information.

Do I need to get a Covid test before I travel?

Answer

Update: No. You do not need to get a negative covid test before traveling to Punta Cana or coming back into the United States. Visit www.cdc.gov for more information

Do I need to exchange my money into Dominican pesos when I arrive in Dominican Republic?

Answer

Yes and No. If you are planning to hit the small outskirt villages and buy fruits and souvenirs, they might require Dominican Pesos but usually most places accept USD and credit card. It will be wise to change around $200 USD into DOP (Dominican pesos)
