What is a Happily Ever After Party?

A "happily ever after party" is a celebration for couples who eloped or had a small, private wedding, and want to share their joy with a larger circle of friends and family at a later date.

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes, we have a limited room block at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ottawa at a discounted rate, under Thrush/Weatherford Wedding. You are welcome to book any hotel or Airbnb of your choosing, but we will only have a shuttle service to and from the Holiday Inn Express.

Will there be a shuttle service?

Yes, if you are planning on staying at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ottawa, we will have a shuttle service provided with limited drop off and pick up times.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking in a nearby grass lot. We ask that you please follow the posted signs to find this designated area.

What should I wear?

Answer

Garden Attire: Sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues or khakis and a dress shirt. Ladies should wear sandals or chunky heels for the grass venue. If you plan on staying late into the evening, you are welcome to bring a change of clothes to be more comfortable!

When does the party end?

Answer

There is no formal end time and you are free to leave whenever you want, but we hope you stay as long as you can! After dinner we will have dessert, dancing, and a bonfire later in the evening.
