We're Getting Married!

Matt and Jessica met working at a breakfast restaurant together. Matt was a host and took care of togo orders. Jessica was a server. They started off as friends just having casual conversations at work getting to know each other. They would find each other locking eyes several times thorough out the day. Matt thought Jessica was really cute but he was shy at first and nervous to talk to her. Jessica found Matt intriguing. She really liked his calm and cool personality and as he became more comfortable she began to learn that he was actually a pretty funny and goofy guy. One particular story is when Matt called back to the kitchen staff asking "how much longer on those empanadas?" and while every one of our coworkers looked at him like he was crazy (because it was a breakfast restaurant and they didn't even have empanadas on their menu), Jessica thought it was the funniest and silliest thing and laughed so hard. Jessica started to realize that Matt had a crush on her because he would only clean her dirty tables at the restaurant, just so he could get more time to talk to her. They started to really like each other and they even would get to work extra early just so they could sit and talk! (because they would sometimes get yelled at for talking to much during work) While neither of them ever thought that their relationship would turn into something so serious, here they are 5 years later tying the knot!

In August, Jessica's family and Matt's family were planning to get together and hangout, even the grandparents were invited! Jessica thought nothing of it and she didn't even know her grandparents were invited until they showed up at the restaurant! On August 21st, we arrived at the restaurant to meet each other's families around 6 PM. We sat down and ordered drinks. Jessica could tell Matt was nervous but just thought it was some normal social anxiety. Here comes our waitress carrying this bottle of wine and hands it to Matt. Matt then hands it to Jessica and she reads on the bottle "Will you Marry Me?" She is shocked and surprised! Matt gets down on one knee, pulls out this gorgeous ring and says "I love you so much, Will you Marry Me?" Jessica who is surprised and in tears says, "YES!" Everybody in the restaurant cheered and clapped! Both families carrying the biggest smiles on their faces, some even in tears too!
