Things To Do

The city of Grand Rapids is so special to me (Becca) as I lived there for a year with two of my favorite people in the world! There is lots to do and I'm happy to introduce our guests to some of the iconic haunts of GR.

Founders Brewing Co

235 Cesar E. Chavez Avenue Southwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Founders is a well-loved Michigan classic. This would make a great start (or stop) for a GR brewery tour!

The B.O.B.

20 Monroe Avenue Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

This four-floor bar is a go-to for a weekend night on the town. Each floor has a totally different vibe and is a Grand Rapids staple.

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

1000 East Beltline Avenue Northeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49525

FMG is a gorgeous sculpture park and garden that is definitely worth checking out! There is so much to appreciate about this natural art museum.

Lake Michigan

A little bit of a drive (roughly an hour) but sooooo worth it to see one of Michigan's Great Lakes!! Any city that runs along Lake Michigan is worth checking out but some closer classics include: Holland, MI, South Haven, MI, and Saugatuck, MI.

Wolfgang's Restaurant

1530 Wealthy Street Southeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49506

A little bit outside of downtown (10 min or so) but super delicious and hearty. Classic breakfast or brunch option for the morning-after.
