FAQs

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

You can find a list of hotels that we recommend in the area on our Travel & Transportation page, however if you prefer your own space there are many lovely options through AirBnB & other vacation rentals. We will be providing transportation to & from Villa di Corliano for all events, these shuttle stops will be from Bagni di Pisa & a central location near the Pisa Centrale Train Station. Should you decide to stay elsewhere you will just want to make sure that you are able to get to one of these shuttle stops.

Question

What is the best way to get around?

Answer

Pisa is a very walkable city however if you are planning to venture or stay outside of the city we suggest renting a car. Please note that taxis & rideshares can be very hit or miss, so if you are staying in a more remote spot you will want to plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or other additional guests?

Answer

While we wish we could have everyone at our special day the space at the venue is very limited. Therefore our celebrations are limited to those listed on the invitations.

Question

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

Tuscany in the fall is beautiful with the temperatures starting to drop after the summer weather. Typically you will find the highs to be in the 70's during the day and drop down to the 50's once the sun goes down. There is always a chance of rain showers due to being close to the coast, so prepare for some humidity just in case.

Question

Are there any travel requirements in order to get into Italy?

Answer

Italian travel requirements state that your passport must be valid for 6 months after your return date. The EU has postponed the launch of the ETIAS visa until 2026, so United States citizens do not currently require a visa.
