The summer before her junior year of college, Anna Grace participated in a summer internship program with Youth Mission Co, an organization that engages young people in issues including food insecurity, poverty and homelessness. She worked with Raleigh's branch, Raleigh Youth Mission, which was, and still is, based out of First Presbyterian Church. Brady's mom, Linda Harding, was the director of Raleigh Youth Mission at the time and hired Anna Grace for the summer to assist with the many groups that came to Raleigh for a week of service. That summer, Linda hosted the interns at her home, and introduced us to her family... including Brady. But that was all it was, just an introduction. Brady had recently graduated from college and was living in the DC area. Anna Grace finished her summer in Raleigh and headed back to Chapel Hill. Anna Grace kept in touch with Linda throughout the rest of college and after graduation, met up with Linda for a catch-up lunch, letting her know she was planning to move to DC. Anna Grace's former youth minister knew about her plan to move as well and pulled some strings behind the scenes. Soon after, Anna Grace and Brady started chatting, went on their first date at the Raleigh Times in November 2021 and officially started dating in January 2022, after Anna Grace made the move to DC. On Jun 13, 2025, Brady proposed on the beach in Corolla, NC, in the Outer Banks.
