Lane and Anna met at Godspeak Calvary Chapel in Thousand Oaks in August 2023. As they spent time together, they admired one another’s hearts for serving and their love for children. While serving together on the media team, their friendship grew and soon blossomed into something more. They began communicating regularly, and on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Lane shared his feelings with Anna. The two officially began their relationship on November 24, 2023. From that point on, they spent much of their time together, creating cherished memories and enjoying many adventures. For a short period, Anna even worked at the same school as Lane. The day after the school year ended for summer break, Lane proposed to Anna at 10,000 feet in elevation — at one of Anna’s favorite places in the Eastern Sierras. From that moment forward, their journey toward marriage began with joyful wedding planning.
