We met in 2007 when we were 19 years old while salmon seining in Telrod Cove on Kodiak Island. We shared a common group of friends throughout our early 20's. We saw each other only in passing until December 2013 when we began talking on Facebook; Brian loves to tell people we met online. ;) We have been together ever since!

Brian proposed on Christmas morning in 2019 while we were on a family trip with two other families in Lake Havasu, Arizona.
