What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30. The church will open 30 mins prior. Please be on time as guests will be asked to remain outside if late.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at both Dawson and Oris and Oak. Dawson has a parking garage directly across from the sanctuary and guest should park there. At Oris and Oak there is plenty of parking in front of the venue. If any guests have trouble with stairs from the lot they are welcome to pull down the main drive and drop off at the door.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly request formal or semi-formal attire. Ladies are welcome to wear long gowns or cocktail dresses, while gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits or dress slacks.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Our wedding will be a dry event with no alcohol served. We will have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available. Please be sure to not bring any along to the ceremony or reception! It isn’t allowed at the church and we have told the reception venue there will be none.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony—our professional photographers will be capturing every moment, allowing us to be fully present. Feel free to take as many photos as you'd like during the reception!
