What should I wear?

Answer

Business casual. Khakis, slacks, and button down shirt. Tie not required. Summer dresses, blouse and slacks, etc. Could be chilly at night so don't forget your light jacket.

Can I bring the kids?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We opted for a help yourself format, however, drinks are on us!

I wasn't given a plus 1 on my invite. Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to seating restrictions at our venue we had to limit the number of guests. Although we would love your special guest to attend, we unfortunately do not have a place to seat them. We hope you understand.

Will the wedding ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In New York in mid September, you can expect a high in the mid 70s with a low in the low 60s. The venue is located on a small lake so it could be slightly colder near the water.

What will happen after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, the wedding party will take pictures for appox. an hour. During this time, guests are encouraged to enjoy a few drinks, play some lawn games, and dig into some yummy snacks.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should I park and is parking free?

Answer

Parking Fee: $8. The ceremony and reception will both be held at the Old Administration Building. There is a large parking lot that the front gate will direct you to. It is a short walking distance to the building. If handicap access is required, there is a service road you can use to get direct access to the venue. However, there is no parking there. You would need to drop the individual off and then park the car in the main lot.
