Addie's college roommate at UND set us up. We texted for a month before meeting then officially met at Stella's Fish Cafe in Minneapolis on Addie's birthday and have never left each other's side since!

We were on Addie's annual family vacation in Door County, WI. This place is so special to us as it's where our love truly grew for each other. We took a ferry with Addie's brother and sister-in-law to Washington Island, and drove to a lavender farm. When we showed up all the lavender was already harvested, and it looked like a bunch of dead bushes. Regardless, Charlie still decided to propose. The next minute, Charlie was down on one knee!
