The first time I (Hope) remember meeting Miller was at an MBA football game, little did I know we both went to CPA. It was the school I had just transferred to, and where we first got to know each other. Fast forward to Senior year, when we became good friends. We went different ways after graduation, but stayed in contact and our friendship grew stronger. Hope came down to visit me (Miller) at Ole Miss a few times giving us some great catching up and led me to ask Hope out on our first real date. We both had hesitated to get into a relationship before, knowing we both could fall deep, fast. And we did! Paths converged back on Nashville, and after dating a few months we decided to finish school at the same university. We grew as a couple in faith, wisdom, and love, and became a true team. Which led me (Miller) to buying a ring and planning the engagement. My (Hope's) grandparents were in town from Texas, my mom took me to get my nails done, and we had Predators tickets that night (I should've seen it coming... it was my 11:11 on 11/11 wish that day, but he did even better than I could've imagined!) Hope had made me (Miller) promise not to propose at a sports event, so I hoped that would throw her off a little bit. My brother (and Best Man, Don) and I had scouted out the perfect location where there would be no one else around, but he could get pictures. I popped the question at the Gulch Greenway, and we went to St. Añejo's (one of our favorite restaurants) where our families were waiting before the game. Planning a wedding has been so fun (sometimes overwhelming, but fun)! Nashville has been our home forever, and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of our friends and family.
