Yes! Due to the nature of our venues, we are requesting that all guests wear formal attire for the duration of our ceremony and reception. We are following this description from Brides.com, "The wording here indicates something slightly less formal than black-tie is acceptable. So, a tuxedo isn't required, but the event is still formal enough for one to be appropriate. The choices are the same as with black-tie: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. As far as women are concerned, there's not much of a difference between black-tie attire and black-tie optional attire, although Mae says it's more acceptable to wear a dress that shows the ankles (which is not true of a black-tie dress code). Men have the option of wearing a tuxedo, or they can wear a formal dark suit, white shirt, and conservative tie." https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained (Men, feel free to wear a jacket and shirt with color, you do not have to stick to black and white)
We kindly request your response before May 16th, 2022. If you struggle with the online RSVP, please do not hesitate to reach out to Liza at 920-373-6072.
Our ceremony will be starting at 3:00pm CST. You are welcome to arrive to the chapel anytime after 2:30pm. Please be seated before 2:50pm.
Yes! There are lots of options for parking on campus. The campus can be slightly confusing, so please arrive early to make sure you are not late for start of the ceremony. You can park anywhere on St. Catherine University's campus and walk to the chapel. For a shorter walk, we would recommend entering through Gate 1 and parking anywhere on the big V. For a longer walk, (but tons of available parking spots), you can enter through gates 2, 3, or 4 and park in the nearby parking lots. There is also free street parking on both Randolph Avenue and Cleveland Avenue.
Yes! The small parking lot of First Christian Church (on the corner of E 22nd Street and First Avenue South) is available for our guests to use. Once that is full, there is AMPLE free street parking on the surrounding streets. Be sure to follow posted signs to ensure you are following all parking laws to avoid getting ticketed or towed.
Yes, please do! Our chef is happy to accommodate. You can note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. If you are experiencing difficulties with the online RSVP or want to double check that your dietary restriction is marked down, feel free to reach out to Liza at 920-373-6072.
The main protein will be grilled chicken tenders with barbecue sauce and ketchup. They will come with a side of tater tots, veggie sticks, cottage cheese, and apple juice! The kid's meal will be served for all guests ages 12 or younger. If your older children would prefer the kid's meal over the other choices, not a problem! Mark the children's dinner on their RSVP or text Liza at 920-373-6072.
While we would love to celebrate with your dates, if your invitation did not specify that you can bring a guest, please leave them at home and grab a piece of cake on the way out to share with them after the party!
For some of you, we have reserved a seat for you to bring a guest if you would like. On the online RSVP form, you will have to choose whether or not your guest will be attending, as well as input their name. If you would prefer to celebrate with us without a guest, that works! Just choose the option, "will not attend".
If your kiddos are invited to celebrate with us, it will be clearly marked on your invitation. If they are not listed on the invitation, please leave them at home for a fun night with their favorite babysitter!
Yes! We are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Target. You can find our entire registry on the "registry" tab of this website. There are items from other stores as well on our registry. Our registry is on the smaller side because we are so fortunate to already have a lot of the things we need, so we have set up a honeymoon fund as well.
Right now, there is no plan for transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony or the reception. We will keep you updated if anything changes.
