If you are interested in playing golf while you're in town, be sure to reserve a tee time far enough in advance!

Wicklow Golf Club

A historic landmark in the town, with tours and a lovely cafe/restaurant.

Wicklow Gaol

A gorgeous sandy beach only a 12 minutes drive along the coast, passing several golf courses.

Brittas Bay Beach

Approx. 35 minute drive from Wicklow town. There is a local link bus from Wicklow town directly to Glendalough where you can choose from several different hiking routes.

Glendalough

A popular destination, reached by walking either along the cliffside or up a dirt road off of Dunbur Road. Swimming is an option at the small stone cove beaches but keep an eye out for seals!

Wicklow Head Old Lighthouse

The smaller of two peaks on the road between Dublin and Wicklow. An easy 45-90 minute hike only 30 minutes drive from Wicklow town.
