Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #JourneyToJenichen so we can keep track of all of your wonderful pictures!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wedding in the woods! Plan for a warm Fall day outdoors (Afternoon-Late Night). Layers or a jacket. Bring shoes that you are comfortable with on dirt/gravel. Semi-formal/comfortable. attire. We are going for a vintage/boho/fall vibe. Classy rustic.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

October weather in Forestville is normally a high of 78-85 degrees and a low of 43-50 degrees. The river and the beach should still be enjoyable!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Depending on where you are coming from, camping is an option for all of our guests that we strongly encourage. Guests can arrive Friday 10/6/23 or Saturday morning on 10/7/23. We recommend that you arrive an hour or two before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors in a meadow. The reception will take place at the lodge, an indoor/outdoor space. Indoor capacity: 80

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Cocktail hour will commence immediately! The bride and groom will join you shortly.

What do we do for gifts/registry?

Answer

We are asking for all gifts to be made towards our honeymoon to Thailand. You can find it in the registry tab.
