Matron of Honor
My friendship with Taylor began at Cudahy High School on the volleyball court. Fast forward 19 years, you’ll find us playing sand volleyball together every summer. I continue to be thankful for Taylor’s unwavering support, genuine advice and the occasional reminder to prioritize what really counts.
Best Man
Nick and I met back in 2009 at Iowa State University. It was my second year and his freshman year in the dorms. He quickly became the more responsible one of our friend group, taking care of us after some late nights out. We bonded over our love of playing basketball and spent many hours shooting hoops or playing pickup games around campus. Although he knows exactly how to get under my skin he’s a great friend and supporter of mine.
Bridesmaid
Tricia & I met at Cudahy Middle School in cheerleading. Little did I know she would become one of my biggest cheerleaders in the game called life! High school friends turned college roommates at UW-Whitewater, we’ve laughed til we’ve cried and cried til we’ve laughed many times.
Groomsman
Ben and I met at Iowa State University. He lived across the hall from me his freshman year and my second year. Once we moved out of the dorms Ben, myself and two others became roommates in and off campus apartment for four years. Our love of sports brought us together and that remains a big part of our friendship in our running text thread about Iowa State football or basketball. Ben is always the first one to joke and give his random facts about anything (even if they are completely false). He’s been like a brother to me and I appreciate having him by my side.
Bridesmaid
Tina & I met freshman year at UW-Whitewater (likely on the dance floor at a party) and we became fast friends and eventually roommates. Whether we’re running for fun together or grabbing a weeknight dinner, I continue to be grateful for Tina’s kindness, encouragement and laughter.
Groomsman
Jay and I met in college at Iowa State University in 2013. He lived in a house down the road from my apartment where we had some fun to say the least. Whether we’re talking Iowa State sports, traveling to Iowa State Bowl games or the Kentucky Derby he’s always been there.
