Semi-formal. The ceremony will be held outdoors in the early evening (depending on the weather), and the reception will be on the same grounds, within very short walking distance. The parking lot is also gravel for anyone with stability problems or wheelchair access. Women: dresses, pantsuits, skirts, and formal rompers are all fine. Men: Please wear a dress shirt and jacket, sport coats are fine, ties are optional.
There will be transportation to and from the venue from the hotels. Plan on arriving 15 minutes before the ceremony. 4:15 should be fine.
The ceremony will take place on the venue grounds. Cocktail hour is located indoors and outdoors (a covered porch area) at the venue and is within a football field length of the ceremony space. There will be access to the restrooms and the inside of reception area. Reception is right through the doors of the outdoor covered area where the main cocktail hour will be taking place. Take this time to mingle!
Yes. Please do not take pictures on your phone during the ceremony. We want our friends and family to be there to witness our marriage. Let the photographer do his job.
Yes. There will be transportation from the 2 hotels that have blocks located on the hotel page of the site. If you are not staying at one of those hotels, please Uber or carpool with a designated driver. There will be alcohol, and we don't want anyone drinking and driving! Be mindful this is a more remote venue, and Uber or Lyft may not be as widely available. Cars can be left overnight as long as they are picked up by 11 am the next day!
If your invitations include your children, then yes! Due to the open area of the venue outdoors, children must be supervised at all times for their safety.
If your invitation includes a plus one, yes. Other than that, we want to keep our wedding on the smaller side and have it be family and close friends only.
If you have dietary restrictions, please let Bri know when RSVPing to the wedding so that we can be sure to accommodate you to the best of our ability with the caterer.
We kindly request that people be winding down and heading back to the hotels around 9 pm.
There is no organized after-party, but if you want to keep the party going there are a ton of good restaurants and pubs around the area. Check out Irish Eyes, The Greene Turtle, Grotto's, The Purple Parrot, and Dogfish Head Brewery all located close to the venue.
