Emma and Kevin went to Winston Churchill Highschool together. They were in similar friend groups; Kevin graduated and went to UMD while Emma graduated and went to Elon University. Emma and Kevin did not keep in touch post highschool. Seven years later, in 2019, at the infamous Memorial Day Weekend Dewey Beach Bottle and Cork Jam Fest, Emma and Kevin ran into each other. Emma and Kevin danced the day/night away and were inseparable all weekend. When they got back to Washington, DC, Emma and Kevin formed a friendship. They would text at all hours of the day and make plans to see each other frequently. Emma and Kevin discovered they had similarities they never knew- coming from the same Italian/English background, their love for family, Harry Potter and all things Disney/Marvel/Fantasy, cooking (even though they are both backseat chefs), adventuring together, crab feasts, cozy fall nights, and for their dog Everett. Kevin finally told Emma he loved her after their amazing weekend in New York City seeing the Harry Potter play and Sunday dinner with her parents. She was in love, as well, and they moved into their first DC apartment with their dog Everett- and the rest is history!
