Maddie & Jack

In true millennial fashion, Jack and Maddie met online via Facebook in 2015. Maddie was a sophomore at the University of Washington, and Jack had just started his career as a delivery driver. They hit it off immediately and realized they had mutual friends. Two days later, they met for coffee at University Village, and sparks flew. Despite the demands of college and work, they always made time for each other, and knew they were in it for the long haul. 

In 2017 after Maddie graduated they moved in together, later moving into their current house in Shoreline. In spring of 2021 they adopted their beloved dog, Fen, and grew into a little family of three.

After eight years together, Jack proposed on Maddie’s birthday in August 2023 on Whidbey Island, with Fen as their only witness.

They’ve since been busy planning their wedding and navigating career changes. Jack is freelancing as a handyman, and Maddie is now a jewelry designer. Together, they continue to grow and support each other.
