WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

Thomas and Shenise’s journey began in 2020, during the height of the pandemic—a time when neither of us was looking for anything serious or knew what the future held. Funny enough, we weren’t even each other’s type! (LOL) We were both simply navigating life, one day at a time. Everything started with a casual invitation. Shenise asked Thomas to join her for her sister’s birthday dinner—a simple gesture that unexpectedly became the start of something special. Not long after, we took a spontaneous weekend trip to Phoenix, Arizona. Upon our return, an unexpected ice storm hit Dallas. On the drive back from the airport, Shenise’s brother-in-law, Kendrick, jokingly said, “This will be the real test. If Shenise stays at Thomas’s place, then we know this is something different.” Well, I stayed—and the rest is history. Over the past three and a half years, we’ve shared countless adventures, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Time has flown by with each moment feeling like a blessing. Sometimes we pause and think, “How did this happen?” But when God brings two people together, it’s undeniable. We feel incredibly blessed to have found each other. With love, The Johnsons
