Reno-Tahoe International Airport

Reno airport will be the closet, but there will still be a drive after that! The scenic, yet more direct route from the airport to Tahoe will be Mt. Rose Hwy or you can take the 80. Here are the recommended directions from Reno/Tahoe Airport: -Upon leaving the Reno Airport, turn right onto HWY 395 North. -Proceed approximately three miles (staying in the right lane). -Exit onto I-80 West (Sacramento/Reno exit). -Continue on I-80 West approximately 35 miles to Truckee, California. -Exit at HWY 89 South (Exit #185 to Tahoe City/Squaw Valley) and turn right at the roundabout heading South on HW 89. -Approximately 10 miles south of Truckee is the Squaw Valley turn off, turn right at the light onto Squaw Valley Road. -Proceed about three miles until you reach the end of the Valley, the road veers left over the bridge. -Turn right into the second PlumpJack driveway.
