Jake is Tommy's brother, born four years after Tommy and has- in similarities and differences- been an inspiration to Tommy from his childhood. Tommy and Jake have shared interests, passions, and conversations throughout their life, and Jake prayed for years that Tommy would find the person perfectly suited for him.
Justin Hamilton
Groomsman
Justin is Tommy's cousin- born only two days after him. They have watched each other grow throughout their lives and have connected since their youngest days in shared memories, shared laughs, and a shared love for the Hamilton family, with all of its quirks.
Daniel Palomino

Daniel and Tommy met in person for the first time in 2014- only a few months after Tommy prayed that he would find a friend who shared his intellectual and spiritual interests. Daniel has, over a period of many years, both encouraged and challenged Tommy, and has supported Tommy and Sean's relationship from its earliest moments.
Matthew Mouring

Matt and Tommy met in 8th grade, in what was for them both their first day at a new school. Tommy was a groomsman at Matt's wedding, and they have been able to see each other grow throughout each other's lives.
Mason Ryan
Groomsman
Mason is Sean's brother and Tommy's future brother-in-law. He moved to San Francisco earlier this year where he is following in his father's footsteps by teaching ceramics at a local studio.
Nadina Robinson
Matron of Honor
Nadina is Sean's godmother in the Orthodox Christian Church. She was the first person Sean met on her first visit to St Barnabas in August 2021, and so warmly welcomed her into the congregation there. Their relationship quickly grew when Sean asked Nadina to be her godmother, and Nadina was extremely gracious with her time and resources in supporting Sean through the following months. Her husband is Perry Robinson, who is a theologian like Tommy, and when Sean told Nadina about Tommy in April 2022, we discovered that Perry had known him for almost a decade! Needless to say, she played an important role in Sean and Tommy's meeting one another, and has been so supportive of their relationship, as well as Sean's spiritual life.
Maggie Brown

Maggie and Sean met back in 2014, during Sean's first year at Cornish College of the Arts, and when Maggie had just returned from a music program in Indonesia. Later that year, Sean and Maggie found themselves at the same party on the other side of the country - in NYC, and became fast friends from there on out. Maggie is a brilliant composer/ guitarist, and dear friend of Sean's who has seen and supported her through many seasons of their lives.
Stella Georgoulis

Stella is one of Sean's closest friends from St. Barnabas. She is one of the few people in the world who impossible not to admire and want to be around. She also has provided a listening ear and humbling words of wisdom to Sean in critical moments of her journey the past couple years.
Tatyana Garten

Tatyana is one of Sean's dearest friends from St. Barnabas as well, and an absolute ray of sunshine. Not only were Tatyana and Sean both music majors in college, but also realized that Sean had lived as a neighbor of Tatyana's grandparents! And, it's notable that Tatyana's husband, another theologian, had been "internet friends" with Tommy for years. She has always been a huge encourager of Sean and Tommy's relationship, which is a good sign since her marriage with Michael is an inspiring one!
Catherine Palomino

Catherine is the newest friend in Sean's life in Virginia. They met on Sean's first trip to visit Tommy in May 2023. Catherine's husband, Daniel, and Tommy have been friends since 2014, and they both were over the moon about the fact that Tommy had finally found "the one". They even attempted to help him brainstorm ways to propose to Sean. Although Tommy didn't run with their suggestions, Catherine has played an key role in Sean and Tommy's marriage, as a supporter of the relationship, as well as helping Sean feel transition to her life in Virginia.
