We’re Getting Married!

Tom & I met at our apartment complex during an unpredicted snow storm in Charleston. Our community events staff invited us to the apartment’s club house for complimentary beverages after a few long days secluded in our rooms. We both took it as an opportunity to get a change of scenery. It was there he walked up to me, said hello, and instantly we felt that connection everyone talks about. We were the last two people there after talking for hours. He asked me on a date once the weather cleared (shout out Orlando’s Pizza!) and we’ve been together ever since.

We went on a weekend trip to Linville Falls in North Carolina. We had vacationed there in the first few months of dating. His plan was to hike Grandfather mountain and propose at the top but because of snow (it found us again haha) they closed the mountain. Instead we hiked to the falls (just as lovely) and he got down on one knee.
