Acadia National Park
Acadia Nat'l Park should definitely make your travel list, as it offers such a beautiful blend of mountain and sea. You can enjoy the shops and local restaurants in Bar Harbor, or take a day hike up Beehive, Gorham, or the Great Head Trail on Sand Beach in Acadia. Day passes are available online or to purchase in person at the Hulls Cove information center -- where the address is listed!
Cadillac Mountain

Maine Discovery Museum
This children's museum is a great place for families with younger kids. It is in the heart of downtown Bangor, so you can stop in before or after getting some local lunch!
M Thai Restaurant
This is the couple's go-to restaurant. The location offers street side views of downtown Bangor and has the tastiest Thai food around. Thomas and Rachel celebrated their one-year anniversary here!
Bagel Central
One of Rachel's favorite breakfast joints within downtown Bangor. Any bagel and cream cheese combo you could think of, as well as a plethora of bakery sweets, coffee, and tasty side dishes.
The Rock and Art Shop
This quirky store is local to Maine and has the most unique assortment of plants, jewelry, art, and knick-knacks. Stop in to shop local Maine-made items and browse what cool things they have to offer.
