Vow Renewal

We connected online in a dating app in November of 2014. Rachel lived in Massachusetts and Tom lived in the Capital District in New York. Every relationship has its hurdles but we didn't see the distance as a challenge, we saw it as an opportunity to begin with communication, honesty and trust. Tom proposed in August 2015 at the Empire Plaza in Albany underneath the Corning Tower where we had our first date. We always planned on getting married on Friday April 1, 2016 but we decided to elope on Sunday October 18th 2015, in the snow. Our marriage has been a winding journey that has taken us all over the East Coast and to a few different countries. We have seen our children grow from babies to teenagers. We both have completed college degrees and found our careers together. It takes everything we both have to come out on the other side still in love and still devoted to each other. We have some pretty phenomenal role models for happy marriages too! Rachel's grandparents have been married for 65 years, her Godfather has been married for 41 years and Tom's parents have been married 33 years. This year we want to celebrate a huge milestone, TEN YEARS. At approximately 4:15pm on Saturday October 18, 2025 we will be married for exactly ten years and we'd like to share it with all of our closest friends and family.
