We are excited to embrace this part of our journey with you

A pool party in 2016 was just the beginning. I think he was attracted to the damsel in distress appearance with me on my crutches. He was cute the way he showed off his muscles and tattoos. I wasn't local, though. While away in NJ we mailed packages to each other such as future beach house decor, a dinosaur grasper to help me pick things up I couldn't reach, and a book, The Martian, he still has yet to read... Ever since I moved back, Tom always came to the rescue. Fixing windows and doorknobs, driving me and the kids to and from places. His persistence got my attention but he would drive me crazy. Our boys, Evan and Ryan, were best friends- the frequent sleepovers and adventures kept us around each other. And then it happened. In 2018, I fell head over heels in love with Tom while walking through a corn maze with Lil, Ryan, and Evan. I no longer could deny the feelings that I already knew he had for me, and we started dating. The infamous date that brought us to our love of the Adirondacks was in September 2019. We hiked the highest mountain, Mt. Marcy. -If you know Tom, and I know you do, you know it's "go big or go home." By the end of this day, I was sooo mad at him and wasn't sure I wanted to talk to him again. God was present throughout our hike from the people that He sent along the trail to keep us going to overcoming the fear of heights, and the strength to push on when we (or I) wanted to give up. Our hike was symbolic of our journey in life and was one of the most spiritual experiences we have had. We never imagined this one date would change our lives, but it did, and we are beyond thrilled to share our love for each other and the magical mountains with you.
