Things To Do

We are excited for our guests to visit our hometown. St. Louis has a lot of great places that we love to hang out in when we come back in town.
Soulard

Soulard

St. Louis, MO

Home to Anheuser Busch, Soulard is the St. Louis neighborhood nearest and dearest to our hearts with it's beautiful houses and lively streets. Start your day by walking through the Historic Farmer's Market and having a coffee/Bloody Mary at Julia's and grab some beignets or other treats from the vendors. Take a tour of the AB brewery (with some free samples, of course) before exploring the rest of the neighborhood. Some of our favorite institutions are local Irish restaurant McGurks & The Woodshack or 9th Street Deli for a sandwich. Watch a Cardinals game and listen to some live music at 1860s or enjoy a large beer selection at ITap while grabbing some late night treats at Mission Taco Joint. Hop across to Layafette Square for a quieter scene with more upscale dining at Polite Society, Eleven Eleven Mississippi, Vin de Set and drinks at Planter's House or 33 Wine Bar.

Some of our other favorites include: - Schlafly - Civil Life - Alpha Make sure to try some toasted ravioli, which are usually a hit, or be bold and see if you are one of the few out of towners that like St. Louis style pizza with Provel Cheese. Imo's is the most popular example, but there are plenty of spots in town to offer it.
