We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Tom and I are both Registered Nurses at Erie County Medical Center. Having worked on neighboring units for a while, we both knew of each other, but had never formally met. Then one day, everything changed! A patient was rapidly declining on my unit and an emergency was called overhead. Tom, having also been working that day, heard what was going on and came to “save the day” as he says. After the situation had ended, I approached Tom to thank him for coming to help out. Unfortunately he was a bit too shy to ask me for my number then, but shortly did thereafter. The following week we went on our first date to Pearl Street for dinner downtown. I now tease Tom, telling him how impressed I was at his fearlessness to wear a light grey shirt on the hottest day of the year! After dinner, we didn’t want the night to end, so Tom took me for ice cream and showed me around the beloved Hamburg Village. At the time, I was so unfamiliar with Hamburg, but have since grown to love it myself! Fun fact, if you know anything about Tom you know that he is a dedicated member of the Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department. On our first date, little did I know, but there was a huge fire that he missed to be with me- if that’s not love, I don’t know what is! Haha Tom and I compliment each other so well and we could not be more thankful that God led us to one another. We can’t wait for the start of our lives together as a married couple, and couldn’t be happier to be able to celebrate our love with all of you!
