What’s with all the parties?

Answer

We know that our wedding location and date may be inconvenient for many however we want to share this special time with as many of our loved ones, friends, and family as possible. So we will be having two extra events so that those friends & family who can’t come to the actual ceremony can share in this joyous occasion with us.

Why Oconomowoc?

Answer

Oconomowoc is a very special place for Malaika, her mother grew up there and she has spent a good majority of her life with her family there. Okauchee lake (the setting for the ceremony) is where Malaika & Thomas spent last 4th of July and where they got engaged.
