One night Thomas was working in the University Hospitals Medical ICU and had a patient who needed chemotherapy. Lizzie was sent from the Seidman Cancer Center to administer the chemo. Thomas and Lizzie proceeded to talk for the whole 8 hour shift. The next night Thomas searched for Lizzie on Facebook and asked her out. Their first official date was tacos followed by Lizzie's favorite live country music.....It was destiny!
