We’re so excited to have you at our wedding! Below are a few FAQs to help get you started, but if you have any questions at all, big or small, don’t hesitate to reach out to Tom and Liv directly. We’re always happy to help.

1. Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our main celebration will be in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, a city full of color, music, and magic! The ceremony and events will be held at: Casa Baluarte Ladeira do Baluarte, 20 Santo Antônio Além do Carmo Salvador – BA, 40301‑385, Brazil Exact details and directions will be provided to confirmed guests.

2. When is the wedding?

The celebration kicks off on Sunday, September 6th at 4:30 PM at Casa Baluarte: Ladeira do Baluarte, 20 Santo Antônio Além do Carmo Salvador – BA, 40301‑385, Brazil We’re also planning a welcoming pre-party on Friday, September 4th—Livia & Tom have something special in store for everyone, so be ready to start the celebrations early! And fair warning: Bahians know how to party, and they don’t quit early! So who knows exactly when the night will end… come ready for a long, unforgettable celebration!

3. Do I need a visa to travel to Brazil?

Answer

Yes! Guests from the U.S. will need a tourist visa, but don’t worry, it’s super quick, easy, and you can do it entirely online! Check out the Travel tab for all the details…getting it is easier than figuring out how to dance samba!

4. What’s the best way to get to Salvador?

Answer

It’s super easy! Just fly into Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport (SSA), then hop in a taxi,Uber, rideshare, or shuttle straight to your hotel. Before you know it, you’ll be sinking your toes into Salvador’s beautiful beaches, soaking up the sun, and maybe even enjoying some queijo coalho on the sand with Tom & Liv!

5. Where should I stay?

The wedding is formal, so dress to impress…but make sure you can still move and dance comfortably!

7. What should I bring?

Answer

Bring your energy, your appetite, and sunscreen. Pack a swimsuit for the beach, a hat for exploring, your sense of adventure, and maybe even a camera to capture all the epicness. Basically, come ready to eat, dance, laugh, and soak up every bit of Salvador.

8. Can I bring a plus-one?

Your presence is the greatest gift! If you’d like to give a little extra, we have a wishing well, contributions are warmly appreciated, but having you there is more than enough.

10. Will there be events before or after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Livia and Tom have something special planned for the welcoming pre-party on Friday, September 4th and we’ll share more details soon. Once you get to Salvador we’ll be hanging out around the city, so there is always something fun to do with beach time, exploring, eating, and just soaking up the vibes.

11. Food and Drink?

Prepare for an unforgettable culinary experience featuring an extraordinary chef paired with elevated cocktails. Expect refined local cuisine, exceptional ingredients, and drinks that impress. There will be plenty of fuel for dancing, celebrating, and late-night storytelling. If you have any dietary restrictions, just let us know in advance so we can accommodate you thoughtfully.

12. Safety & Tips

Answer

Salvador is colorful, lively, and full of good energy. Just keep your belongings close, stay hydrated (water and caipirinhas both count, fresh juice ), and don’t be shy…locals are extremely friendly and love pointing people toward great food, beaches, and music. Basically, be smart, have fun, and soak it all in.

13. First Step for Travel…

Answer

Just saying it to say it: don’t book a flight to El Salvador…we’re talking Salvador, Brazil. (Tom once almost ended up in the wrong country, so consider this a friendly precaution.)
