How far is Alexandria from a major airport?

Answer

Alexandria is located in West-Central Minnesota. It is an easy 1 hour & 40 minute drive down I-94 from Hector International Airport in Fargo, ND or 2 hours & 15 minutes from MSP airport in St. Paul, MN.

What is the weather like for May in Minnesota?

Tough one to answer. Typically, weather is cool, breezy and sometimes rainy in May. Typically, temps can be in the 50s-60s during the day and 30s-40s at night. We'll try and update weather conditions as the wedding date approaches.

Where is Belle River & why can't I find it on a map?

Answer

Belle River is often called a "ghost town." Its actually a township just outside of Carlos, Minnesota. All that stands there today are a few old farm buildings, the old creamery, a few remaining residents, and the 100 year old St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

How did you choose Belle River, Minnesota for the wedding?

Answer

Linsey's family has roots in Belle River since 1880's. She is sixth generation to attend the Catholic church in Belle River and 5th generation to be married in Belle River. Heritage and tradition is very important to her.

Absolutely! We've even included all of our nieces and nephews in our wedding as junior bridesmaids and junior groomsmen.
