We are getting married!

We both went to the same high school together and attended 2 of the same classes our freshman year. Our sophomore year we started talking and the rest is history. We’ve been together since November 22nd, 2013!

Thomas knew that he wanted to marry Kaitlyn a few years after dating. Kaitlyn loves the mountains and Thomas knew that proposing in front of a mountain side view was going to be memorable. Kaitlyn’s point of view of the proposal: We were in Maggie Valley for a car show and on the last day of the car show we drove up a part of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Thomas and his family stopped on one of the overpasses overlooking this beautiful mountain scenery. Thomas and his friend Zach were taking pictures of cars and then Thomas asked to take pictures with me. After a few shots Thomas got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! Of course I said “YES” and it was the most perfect moment. We got to celebrate with his family and I was on FaceTime with my family. My family had been waiting all day for the question to be asked! I still replay this moment in my head daily. I cannot wait to become Thomas’s wife!
