This event requires comfortable and modest church attire so please dress appropriately. Everyone will be asked to take off their shoes as they enter the temple and will be provided with head coverings.
Attending this event is completely optional, as there will be a second ceremony closer to the reception. Please be aware that this ceremony requires you to be seated on carpeted floors for the entirety of the event. To be respectful towards the Gurudwara and appreciate the sacred ceremony, please do not bring any paraphernalia, including cigarettes or alcohol into the temple. As you enter the temple, you will be asked to remove your shoes, cover your head, rinse your mouth, and wash your hands for purity. If you plan to have a small breakfast before the event, please refrain from having eggs, meat, or alcoholic products before entering the temple. However, a light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
