Oceanside Harbor Village
Oceanside Harbor offers many restaurants and small shops to visit along with aquatic activities. Erin and her dad love to rent paddle boards in the harbor and paddle around looking at all the boat names. They also have kayaks and boats to rent.
Old California Coffee House and Eatery
My coffee shop!! I started working here in 2011 and met Tommy on the patio that same year. I also took over ownership in 2017. You can try Ascend Coffee Roasters while visiting and see what I have done with the business.
Swamis Seaside Park
A beautiful beach to visit while in town. Swamis offers a unique southern Californian beach experience with tide pools and great surf. One of Tommy's favorite spots to catch a wave when it isn't too busy. Lots of stairs down to the beach, consider it a small hike down.
Municipal Taco & Mezcal
One of our favorite places for date night. Amazing tacos and drinks!! This business also tried to open in early 2020 but was stalled for almost two years due to Covid. They pulled through all the challenges and created an awesome hang out.
Carlsbad Village
Lots to do all within walking distance. Our recommendations would be Pizza Port, Taste of the Himalayas, Handel's Ice Cream, a million coffee shops, clothing stores and Erin's favorite dive bar the Golden Tee. Beach is also within walking distance.
Daley Ranch
Lots of hiking for any skill level. Boulder Loop is one of our favorite hikes with peak-a-boo ocean views.
Wrench and Rodent Seabasstropub
Sushi made by surfers. Unique flavor pairings and a unique experience. Good wine list and local beer.
SETS Kitchen & Bar
Fun atmosphere with great food and drinks. Local in San Marcos.
