We met at our first triathlon club practice on a bike ride. We bonded over both playing water polo and how we struggled through our teams "easy" 40 mile ride. After a few months of being friends and teammates, Thomas asked Dana on a date. After getting friend zoned the first time (awkward...) we went on our first date! We fell in love from there!

We were visiting Paris and were walking through the Les Champs-Elysees, which is a famous garden with fountains and lots of greenery. When we got to a section of the garden that was private, Thomas lured Dana in with a baguette picnic. After eating, Dana got up to leave and Thomas got on one knee. Her answer was "HECK YES!"
