Please book your flights into Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport (GDL) in Guadalajara. It’s about a 30–40 minute drive to downtown. For those in or near San Diego, the Cross Border Xpress (CBX) bridge is a convenient option to access flights out of Tijuana (TIJ), which often offers more nonstop routes to Guadalajara. Here’s how it works: Drive or take a shuttle to the CBX terminal on the U.S. side of the border in San Diego. Cross the bridge into the Tijuana airport using your CBX ticket. Check-in for your flight and depart as usual.

We ask that guests wear semi-formal to formal attire for the wedding day. All other events will be semi-casual. Please note that we will be walking from the church to the venue, so keep this in mind when choosing your shoes. The cocktail hour will be on a rooftop that has wood plank flooring, which may be something to consider for those wearing heels.
Yes! We’re planning a welcome party the day before the wedding. More info and RSVP options can be found on the "Events" tab.
June is warm and there’s a chance of rain, so we recommend light clothing, a small umbrella, and comfortable shoes
A van will be waiting at the hotel valet area at 3:15 PM and will depart promptly at 3:30 PM. After the ceremony, there is no need for transportation to the reception—it’s just a 5-minute walk from the church. We’ll all head there together callejoneada style (a traditional Guadalajara wedding parade) filled with music, singing, dancing, laughter, and maybe a little tequila to keep the celebration going all the way to the reception. Following the reception, transportation will be provided back to the DoubleTree Guadalajara, where the room block is located.
The ceremony will be at El Santuario de Guadalupe at 4:00PM. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early prior to the ceremony start time to ensure there is plenty of time to find your seat.
Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself!
Once the invitations are sent out, an RSVP tab will appear in the top right corner. Simply enter the name(s) listed on your envelope, and from there you’ll be able to select which events you plan to attend.
We request that our guests RSVP by 4/18/2026 so that we can plan accordingly. If there should be any last minute changes please notify Thomas or Cristina as soon as you are aware.
Ubers and taxis are readily available, affordable, and convenient in Guadalajara. Taxis are located just outside the airport, ready for immediate pick-up. Ubers cannot pick up passengers directly at the airport, but you can still order one and meet your driver at the OXXO convenience store just outside the arrivals area. When departing, Ubers can drop you off at the airport without any issues. If you prefer, we can also provide a contact for private transportation.
