FAQs

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Valet parking will be available at the Boston Harbor Hotel for the evening. The Cathedral of the Holy Cross is located in Boston’s South End, where nearby parking lots can be found, though availability may be limited. We recommend using Uber or the provided shuttles from the Boston Harbor Hotel to the church for the ceremony.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will run from the Boston Harbor Hotel to the Cathedral of the Holy Cross for the ceremony, and back to the hotel for the reception. Schedule will be posted back here closer to the wedding

Question

Can I take the shuttle one way?

Answer

Yes. If you prefer to Uber to the church, we recommend taking the shuttle back to the Boston Harbor Hotel for the reception.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive about 20 minutes early to mingle and be seated before the ceremony begins at 4:00 PM promptly. If you arrive after 3:50 PM, kindly wait to enter until after the bride’s entrance. We anticipate traffic in Boston that weekend, so if you plan to take an Uber, please allow extra travel time.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, formal attire. For men, a suit and tie is suggested. For women, a full-length or midi dress is recommended; dressy separates are also welcome.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and dinner reception will both be held indoors. Cocktail hour will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces.

Question

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have room blocks at the Boston Harbor Hotel and The Dagny, just a short distance away. Please book early, as space in the blocks is limited. There are also many other hotels and Airbnbs throughout Boston, but we recommend booking in advance since summer is a busy season in the city.

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’ve chosen to make our wedding weekend an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll take this time to relax and enjoy the festivities with us.
