Not only does Leon's serve amazing oysters, they are also known for their fried chicken, soft serve and Frose. The char grilled oysters are my personal favorite and Thomas loves the fried chicken sandwich! This is a downtown must! NO RESERVATIONS. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. For parties of 5 or more have all guests present in order to be seated.
The Darling Oyster Bar
Hands down our favorite oyster and seafood spot downtown! We love the raw oysters and oyster shooters, however, if you don't love raw seafood I think they serve the best fried shrimp in town! Valet parking available and reservations recommended.
The Obstinate Daughter

Charleston Water Taxi
Great way to see dolphins and historic sites from the water. The water taxi links Mt. Pleasant (Patriots Point or Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina) and historic Downtown Charleston (Waterfront Park or Aquarium Wharf). The water taxi runs on a continuous loop around Charleston Harbor from 9am to 8pm. Use it to get to downtown Charleston’s historic Market St, the South Carolina Aquarium, the USS Yorktown (aircraft carrier), or just for a relaxing, scenic harbor boat ride. You can get off the boat and take as long as you wish to tour any of the local attractions. The Taxi runs every hour so you catch any of our hourly boats back to your destination. $12 All Day Pass. No reservation needed.
