They both took the leap of faith and drove out to Connecticut to do summer sales. They were on two different teams but their two groups would hang out together often so they started to get to know each other. The first time they really met was actually exactly a year from the day they will get married.

They ran into each other after a meeting and hit it off. Cami dropped hints about a movie she was going to with some friends that night and Thomas investigated further. He reached out to their friend organizing the night and found out when and where the movie was happening. They both made sure they got there and friends where excited to see what would happen. Thomas accidentally ended up sitting between two guys and Cami didn't know where to go. Her friend convinced one of the boys to move and Cami sneaked down the row to sit next to Thomas claiming that "the rest of the theater was full".

After that, a slew of events continued to help them get closer. Thomas drove Cami to and from the airport for a trip she had and they had hours to talk about a slew of topics. Within a month they were dating. They finished out the rest of the summer together, at times knocking doors as a team so they could spend more time together. They then headed back for school at BYU in Provo, Utah. There they have worked on their majors and enjoyed facing different challenges and opportunities as a team. Cami is majoring in Communication Disorders and Thomas is majoring in Global Supply Chain. After their honeymoon they will be heading straight to Arkansas for Thomas's internship with Walmart for the summer.
