FAQs

Question

What should we wear?

Answer

Please keep in mind that this is a wedding but will be held outside in the yard. Be comfortable so we can dance the night away! Heels are not recommended footwear. Think sundress or shorts and a nice shirt.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not want anyone to feel obligated to gift us with anything other than your presence. If you wish to gift we ask that you please consider contributing to our honeymoon fund.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be held in the same location?

Answer

Yes! We will be holding the entire celebration at a family member's house in their backyard. We will have people assisting with where to park once you arrive and we will have a clear path to follow to get to the celebration space. After the ceremony we will be taking formal pictures with the family and we will have some snacks and beverages available during our cocktail hour. After that, we will start the party!

Question

What will the space be like?

Answer

As long as the weather cooperates we will have the ceremony in a separate space in the far corner of the yard. The reception will be in the main part of the yard under a tent which will provide both shade and protection in case it rains. In the event of rain, we will also hold the ceremony under the tent.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before 4/21/2025. You can simply RSVP right here on our wedding website!

Question

Will there be a dinner served?

Answer

Yes, we will have a full meal in addition to the snacks offered during the cocktail hour. We will be serving mocktails, cocktails, beer, wine, and water. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies so we can make arrangements! Dinner will be buffet style, offerings will include roast chicken, fish, pork and clams, pulled pork, rice pilaf, salad, roasted veggies, and waffle fries. We will also have rolls and coleslaw to make the pulled pork into sandwiches.

Question

Still have questions before the big day?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to Ashley or Tom and we will help in any way we can!
